Aimee Parker, our Service Manager, and Trustee Siobhan Kelly were invited to attend the Mayor of London’s Community Reception event at City Hall. Mayor Boris Johnson expressed his appreciation for hardworking London charities that are actively trying to improve their communities in Brent and Harrow, and spent some time with Aimee and Siobhan. “Siobhan and I were so pleased to be given the opportunity to speak with the Mayor about the work we do to support people affected by brain injury at Headway North West London” said Aimee. “He expressed his longstanding support for Headway and, in particular, our day facility the LINK, which provides informal social rehabilitation sessions for our members. He even encouraged us to stay in touch!”
